Contact the park for more details. Cherry Creek State Park offers a great getaway from the daily grind, with recreation opportunities anchored around a 880 surface-acre lake. Visitors can view birds in their natural habitat. Fun seekers visit the park to enjoy boating, jet and water skiing, sailing, fishing, swimming, biking, horseback riding, and more. It provides the convenience of close-in camping at its 125 sites located on the east side of the reservoir. The loops are the Arapahoe, Cherokee, and Chief Ouray. To make reservations for any of the group loops only, please contact the Campground Office at 303-693-3957. To make reservations for individual camp sites, please call 303-470-1144 or 1-800-678-2267. Please do not call the Cherry Creek State Park Campground to make reservations.
